We’ve known for a long time that the flavor industry has gone stale. Innovation has given way to mass production; risk-taking is unwelcome. If it works, they say, why change it? ZoomEssence exists to answer that question. Because if we’re telling the truth, current industry methods don’t work. Or don’t work well enough. They’re inefficient, cost more per use than they should, and they often deliver half-baked taste. They privilege industrial inertia rather than pursue innovative experience. The flavor status quo doesn’t work because — regardless of delivery method — it doesn’t deliver on its promise to the consumer. We think there’s a better way to formulate flavor.
